MUSICAL COMMUNITY - Songwriting Detroit Folk

Detroit Youth Volume presents our fourth album, celebrating the genre of Detroit folk and singer song-writers, in collaboration with teaching artists Ashanti Norwood 
and Joe Reilly.

Former & current students, plus collaborating artists will play songs from our last four albums of classical Suzuki melodies melded into DETROIT hip hop, jazz + electronic music. Seventeen current DYV students ages 6-18 will perform & release two songs from our new folk single, created in the last month of workshops w/ ASHANTI NORWOOD + JOE REILLY.
